In the beginning, there was nothing. Then, God said, “Let there be wine.” This sauvignon blanc is not that wine, but it was the beginning of something truly special for Beau Joubert. A crisp, grassy white wine featuring delicate flavors of nettle and elegant minerality, The Genesis combines tropical fruits such as ripe papaya and passionfruit with hints of lime and white peach to produce a complex and effortlessly balanced wine. Profound drinkability and an approachable profile mean that each bottle of The Genesis is a new beginning, and in every glass is a fresh – and refreshing – start. Pair with seafood, salads, and hors d’ouevre for the perfect start to any meal. Best served at 10˚C (50˚F)

Grown in the cool Elgin Valley on a combination of sandstone and deep clay soils.

This dry white wine introduces a crisp, nettle (grassy) top note. A light minerality becomes infused with lime, white peach, tropical papaya and a touch of passion fruit. A complex, yet well-balanced wine, finishing very fresh and clean with a bit of pink grapefruit.

This wine drinks wonderfully on its own but will complement most fish and other light dishes. The acid and clean mouthfeel work wonderfully with spicy foods making it a go-to wine! Best served near 10°C/50°F
